I friggin' love this album. It is certainly a departure for Kanye who usually writes the pop hits that we all sing at parties. This is a more introspective record filled with regret and emotion. It sounds far more like an indie record and it is just perfect for those of us who stay up really late at night. It's really easy to hate on Kanye but this album was a real risk and it shows that he is a true artist, even if this album fails commercially. I think it's just wonderful and a surprise standout at the end of the year! at the very least, download the songs Heartless and Robocop.
